Maybe it’s a bit too late, but still I’m going to share this news.. yeah, Firefox 4 has reached its Stable version yesterday ! 😀
Firefox 4 stable available for any platforms, such Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows. Ah, and now, it is already on PPA Repository !! We could add it to our repository lists easily using add-apt-repository command (for Ubuntu users). With all of the features and thousand of great addons available, I think Firefox still leading the market of Web Browser now, hehehe.. 😀

Hey guys, now I’m going to share a trick, how to connect to the Internet using EVDO-enabled Modem : Venus VT-18 Multi. My friends asked me to bought this modem for them few weeks ago via Online shop. Ubuntu Development Team has just released the latest stable version, Ubuntu 10.10, codenamed “Maverick Meerkat”. I have downloaded it yesterday few days ago, and now, I’m going to I have it installed on my box, Acer Aspire 4530 😀
From the ubuntu homepage, it said this release comes with a lot of changes. New installer’s interface, new amazing fonts, and others. Yeah, I think in every release, it will be better than before. Continue reading

Now we can access the local Ubuntu Repository though hotspots that available in our campus, ITN Malang. 😀
I have tried it from my friend’s laptop. I installed Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat, and then tried to access the repository from Kantin-AP. Hhhmmm.. It went smoothly, but the speed .. Just like download it from Internet.. So slow.. (max speed, if I recall, is 35 KBps) A little slow for a local access, I think .. Continue reading

- someone who doesn’t have a CD-ROM or USB Flash Drive, but really want to try Linux.
- someone who broke her/ his PC (the OS), and need to recover it via LiveUSB/LiveCD (back to point 1, doesn’t have CD-ROM) lol

Unfortunately, my Internet connection still under maintenance, so I couldn’t download the ISO file right now. Hhhh.. Maybe tomorrow morning it will be back to normal, I hope 😀

If you are a Digital Graphic Designer, maybe you know it. Yeah, GIMP stands for GNU Image Manipulation Program. I can say, it’s similiar to Adobe Photoshop, with the ability to produce great digital graphic and photos (photo retouching)
I have been using it till now. It helped me for creating any kind of stuff, like wallpapers, icons, and others. It helped me on most of my project, too. I have been designing any web interfaces using GIMP and then convert it into HTML. This program is really great. And on top of that, it’s totally FREE !!
